New blood for Italian streetwear. Guru confirms wholesale expansion with SS23 and targets the global market.

Guru, S/S 23 marks expansion to wholesale distribution
Led by CEO Sessarego, the daisy brand is preparing to conquer Italy, Spain, France and Cira.

There is no stopping the rebirth of Guru. Under the aegis of the Monza-based Ghep Group, the daisy brand has landed online with www.guru-official.com, signed sponsorships from the Alps to the Mediterranean, and is now preparing to boost the network throughout 2023.

Gianluca Sessarego (president and CEO of Ghep): “We already knew how much the public wanted it, looking for recognizable and well-designed streetwear. We invested to restart with a clear direction, including product development and retail opening. The SS23 line also debuts on the foreign market and with a weekend collection dedicated to large retailers.”

Product is at the center of the plan: quality materials, new fits and authentic streetwear. Among the first markets to enter with new offerings, Guru has been anticipated by collections that also include kidswear lines, accessories, and expansion into lifestyle.

“By 2023,” Sessarego concludes, “we will be back with Guru in China through a targeted presidium and with a capsule in Spain. We are studying new partners for developments dedicated to international licensing.”
