Sessarego (Ghep) accelerates on relaunch of Guru. “There is hype around the dais.”
In the 2000s having linked his brand, a six-petaled daisy, with the design of Italy’s most famous nightclubs and with the world of Formula 1 through sponsorship of Team Renault and driver Fernando Alonso had been instrumental in the success of Guru.
A formula that worked well for a time, then the balance of commerce fashion and social, and consequently of trends, changed.
Today Gianluca Sessarego has decided to revive it, leveraging the same values of the past (music, sports, color and the idea of freedom), but adapting them to new topics (social and green) with the intention of evolving them.
“I have always been fond of the brand, which despite the ups and downs has remained alive and remains a 6+1 petal daisy,” Sessarego explains. “It is the anchor of a great and painful love. I paid its important and rightful ransom, acted from the heart and held on to the seed of that idea. And it is from there that the vision and planning for the spring/summer 2022 season, the first of the new era of Guru” started again.
Currently, the relaunch of the brand, held since 2015 within the company Ghep, of which the entrepreneur is also CEO.
In recent months, Gianluca Sessarego has strengthened the project by initiating an investment and alliance plan, including consulting with Attila&Co., a communications and PR firm. The goal is to bring Guru back to the center of the fashion scene, speaking, on a current scale with new Sessarego perspectives.
