Saturday Shopping: tips for April 23
Spring has begun. The holidays are here and with them, so are the shopping opportunities in our stores and online stores.
We are at the beginning (if not a little further) of the second half of April, although a provocation inflicted by cold days, wind and overcast skies still tends not to move us forward with momentum toward the most beautiful of seasons. However, even if we are still wearing coats, trench coats and sweaters, we are sure that very soon flowers and fruits, daisies and tulips will welcome us with a nice dose of energy and optimism. And we will be ready to welcome it with the enthusiasm of those who, just like every year, look forward to spring to return to life in a different and more positive, more dynamic, more outgoing and colorful way, as this season’s looks and trends (and fashion, too) teach us.
Although the health emergency has not passed and geopolitical scenarios do not make us rest easy, heads are also thinking about something else, preparing for when this period can finally really consider us a bad memory.
That’s why you can’t miss our Saturday Shopping column designed specifically to keep you updated on new arrivals!
We purposely search for brands and point out the proposals we like best (and of all price), so if we make other new ones known as well.
This week: five special collections and collaborations bring you celebratory cashmere, Venetian sneakers, and charity T-shirt.
Find the details as always in our Saturday Shopping gallery and see if you find something that deserves a note in your personal wish list!
Guru
The daisy of Guru is back, and in a big way, too. A nostalgic operation owed to the entrepreneurial fluid of Gianluca Sessarego, CEO of the Monaco-based company Ghep, active in the production and marketing of clothing and footwear worldwide.
Sessarego acquired the rights to the brand in 2015 and today kicked off a relaunch with a young and smart team. In addition to online distribution (at guruofficialbrand.com), it starts from the past, when slogans and designs inspired by the simplicity of flowers and essential lines were iconic.
The current rebranding features her, the daisy, and a T-shirt capsule in premium fabrics. But that’s not enough, the program includes a series of targeted collaborations: Le Rosse Visuali (photo and video), Formentera street brand ChaosGendri, with several limited editions designed for every occasion.
